Transfer¶
create_download_link¶
Create Download Link. Read-only.
Create a download URL for a file; returns url and expires_in_s.
Use it to hand a file to the user or another program instead of returning its bytes in a tool result.
For this server, ref is a vault-relative path to an existing note (a .md file) or attachment. Or pass okf-bundle for the whole vault as an Open Knowledge Format bundle (a zip); prefix a folder path with okf-bundle: (okf-bundle:projects) for one folder.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
ref |
string |
required | The file to serve, in this server's reference format. |
ttl_s |
number \| null |
null |
Link lifetime in seconds; omit for the server's default. A value above the server's maximum is capped, and zero or less is rejected. |
Returns
object
{"ref": "assets/diagram.pdf", "ttl_s": 600}
returns {"url": "https://mcp.example.com/transfer/<token>", "expires_in_s": 600}. Transfer links covers fetching it, and what a ref names on this server.
create_upload_link¶
Create Upload Link. Changes state, not destructive. Tags: write.
Create an upload URL for a file; returns url and expires_in_s.
Use it to receive a file's bytes instead of passing them as a tool argument.
